A word from the Fencing Illini

The Fencing Illini are a group of undergrad and graduate students of the University of Illinois and several surrounding schools that represent the University of Illinois at USACFC and MFC fencing events throughout the season. We welcome fencers in all three weapons. We accept fencers of all skill levels and invite newcomers to the sport to get involved as well. Our fencers are notably friendly and we enjoy a diverse group of students from all academic fields.

Joining the Fencing Illini is an opportunity for incoming students to make friends and current students to make new friends. Furthermore, fencing is both physically and mentally challenging. Fencing is an ideal way to work out, as it is both highly athletic and very enjoyable. Combined with the enjoyable social atmosphere, fencing at the U of I is an excellent venture for any student.
