Fencing III is the final class offered by The Point. The curriculum focuses on the following.
- refinement of footwork, and parries 4, 6, 7, 8
- introduction to circle parries 4 and 6
- understanding proper "right of way"
- introduction to directing
- further understanding of attack/defense actions
- introduction to tactical and strategical aspects of bouting
- Fencing tournament after last class
Bouting, and the skills needed to be successful at
bouting, are a major aspect of Fencing III.
